This page will guide you through how to use the '๐ŸŽ’ Where to Go? Wishlist'

Please note that this guide does not cover the basic usage of Notion.

How to Use the Wishlist

This is a guide on how to use the '๐ŸŽ’ Where to Go? Wishlistโ€™

This wishlist allows you to:

 1. Save interesting places easily using the Notion Web Clipper
 2. Browse and search through your saved destinations in the "๐ŸƒList of Places to Visit"
 3. Keep track of visited places with โ˜… ratings and personal notes

Everything is streamlined into these 3 simple steps ๐Ÿ˜Š

Web-clip interesting places and tourist spots

When you find an interesting place online, start by saving the page to Notion.

Using this wishlist, you can save webpages of places you want to visit directly to Notion with the 'Notion Web Clipper'.

Download the Notion Web Clipper

You can download the Notion Web Clipper from this link ๐Ÿ‘‰ 'Notion Web Clipper'

Clip to '๐ŸƒList of Places to Visit'

The key point when clipping is simply to save the places you want to visit to the '๐ŸƒList of Places to Visit'

Some websites may not be properly saved using the Web Clipper. Particularly, YouTube videos are not suitable for this wishlist since text information cannot be captured properly ๐Ÿ˜จ

If content from a website cannot be captured despite being a regular webpage, trying to clip the 'Print version' of the page might work successfully.

What Happens After Clipping to the '๐ŸƒList of Places to Visit'

When you save content using the web clipper, the webpage information is automatically stored in Notion.

You can browse through your saved places in a convenient list view within the wishlist, while individual pages show the full details from the clipped webpages.

Organizing Your Saved Places

Once you've clipped places to your wishlist, it's time to organize them for easy browsing. You can access and manage all your saved content through the "Clipping Database (Do Not Delete)" tab.

For better organization, we recommend also filling in the "Country" and "Keyword" fields, though these are optional. Just keep in mind that removing keywords might make it slightly harder to find specific places later through search.

How to Search the Wishlist

This is a guide on how to search the wishlist. You can choose from two search methods:

Search by Category (Filter)

You can filter the list by selecting categories.

If the filter is not visible, move your mouse pointer to the right side of the tab and click on the triangle mark (pointing downward) that appears to display the filter.

Search by Keyword

In this search, you can search the list by entering keywords in addition to using categories.
